 Attentions and restrictions when using Scanner driver

  - About Driver User Interface
    When your application has choices between ON/OFF for
    display setting for driver user interface such as a dialog box,
    set to ON to scan.

  - When driver screen is displayed, exit the driver before 
    exiting the application.

  - The driver dialog, error message, etc. may appear behind 
    the application and then you cannot make the operation.  
    When this occurs, select the driver screen by using the task bar, 
    or press Alt and TAB key to move the driver screen to the 
    front and then operate.

  - There is a case which fails in the scanning because of a specific 
    parameter when depending on the application. Please scan again 
    by changing the parameter in that case.

  - There is a case which fails when updating the driver and occurs error 
    message "Error applying transforms. Verify that the specified transform 
    paths are valid". Please install again after uninstalling older version.

  - When the cancel button is pressed after scanning, cancellation might
    not be done according to the processing condition of PC.

  - When "User Account Control: Only elevate executables that are signed and
    validated" is enabled at Local Security Policy of Windows Vista, it is not
    possible to uninstall driver by using "Programs and Features" of Control
    Panel.
    To uninstall driver, disable "User Account Control: Only elevate
    executables that are signed and validated" at Local Security Policy of
    Windows Vista, or use "setup.exe" in CD which is used at installation
    of driver.

 Cautions and restrictions with specified applications

 <Adobe Acrobat 6.0/7.0>
   - When the documents consisting of different page sizes are scanned, 
     they may not be scanned into application normally.
     In such case, scan them without mixing different page sizes.
   - When an original whose length is 17 inches or more is scanned, 
     it may not be scanned correctly into application.

 <Microsoft Office 2000>
   - When the documents consisting of different page sizes are scanned,
     they may not be scanned into application normally.  
     In such case, scan them without mixing different page sizes.

 <Microsoft Office 2003 SP1/SP2>
   - Image may not be scanned in correct colors.
     If this phenomenon occurs, it may be solved by scanning again.
